ABOUT MAX RIVER
Atlanta based actor Max River has been performing since the age of 8.
He has performed in over 17 community theatre productions and has been in 5 professional theatre productions.
Twice, Max has been nominated for a Metropolitan Atlanta Theatre Award,
winning the award for Best Youth Actor in 2010 for his role as 'Winthrop Paroo' in The Music Man.
Max River's first film 'The Therapist' (Campus Movie Fest/Ga Tech) won Best Picture
& was chosen to screen at Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner 2012.
His first full length feature film, The Secret Garden, will be released soon 2016!
Since, he has been in many more short films, multiple TV commercials, Web Series, Industrials & music videos.
Max plays Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar & Ukulele. He performed in an acoustic duo called COPPER RIVER.
As a competitive flat water kayaker, he trains year-round. GOLD medal in USA National Championships
He is an AVID Gamer- placed 5th in the Pokémon Regional Championships & 34th in the National Championships!
Max enjoys hanging out with his friends & animals, all sports,
being outdoors; whitewater rafting, camping, hiking, running, swimming, fishing, biking, archery.
He attends GA Cyber Academy (home school) & is enrolled at college full time.
He continues to maintain all A's in college courses, has been a part of DUKE TIP (Talent Identification Program)
since 5th Grade, joined the National Beta Club in 8th Grade & NHS in 9th.
Max has been recognized for ongoing Academic Excellence by the state of Georgia.
President's Honor Roll - college level. Ga Certificate of Merit winner.
